Such a talented writer in cinema journalism Ganesh Kasargod gets the first Karnataka State Film award for writing in cinema for the year 2011.

The book of Ganesh Kasargod ‘Chadurida Chitragalu’ is declared the best one for calendar year of 2011. The award of Rs.20000, 50 gram gold medal and a citation is reaching Ganesh Kasargod soon in a special function of Karnataka State information department.
